It has been long time i came to this page to interact with you all and i am sorry for being little lethargic! Even though i am in touch through the other social medias like face book and whatsapp, this space is indeed very near to me as this is one of my favorite space to share my thoughts!
It was indeed a great happening that too after becoming A Graded artist in All India Radio that our family, by coincidence, was featured in AIR broadcast with my amma's concert on the 20th March followed by Uncle sri. Embar Kanna's concert with Sri. Trichur Ramachandran sir on the 21st March and on the 22nd March it was my concert! Wow it was indeed a nice feeling and i am sure this would have made Made ABU thatha (my maternal grandpa Sangeetha Bhushanam Sri. Embar Sadagopan) very proud!
After the last interaction here i had a concert for Sarvani Sangeetha Sabha and it was so motivating when the organising secretary applauded the efforts of us in taking the concept of Carnatic on keyboard and this happened to be the first public concert after getting upgraded in AIR! The last of the concert i perform when i was a B high grade artist was the one i had the blessings to perofrm with Great Legendary Sri. Umayalpuram sir on the January 20th and i got the result in my hands on the 21st morning!
February was indeed hectic and fun filled as well! Starting with a surprise lunch organised by my parents which was well attended by all who had been the cause for my growth and also had some relatives joining us for teh first time! I had a concert which was organised to recognise the efforts of Sri. Palakad Sajeev, founder Neelakandan Sivan Academy, Vellacherry for his efforts and then a concert in Abu Dhabi dedicating same to Iyakunar Sigaram Director K. Balachander which was in Team Rajhesh Vaidhya anna.
Valenten's Day was indeed a great day with a Great Opportunity to meet, interact and take photo with Great Legendary Violin artiste Sri. L. Shankar. Also a good interaction / concert with Sri. Ravi Chari uncle, a renowned Sitar artiste, Sri. Faizan Hussain on Drums & djembe and Ms. Aditi Bhagwat, a Katak Exponent. This was held in Phoenix Mall, Vellachery and it was a wonderful concert received so well by the Large Audience!
Being my Birth month, February, i think was so lucky to have the blessings of my Guru Padmashree Kum. A. Kanyakumari amma to perform in her team on the 24th and was so excited to perform alongside Mudikondan Ramesh sir on Veena, Sri Srimushnam Raja Rao sir on mrudhangam and Vaikkom Gopalakrishnan sir on the Ghatam. One of the blessed opportunity and i pray The almighty to have this repeated many more times!
